Welcome to the Human Cosmos. Human Cosmos is an app and website platform for meditation and self-development.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we and several other companies with which we work, collect, use, transfer and protect information relating to our mobile services, our website and other software provided in Human Cosmos services or in connection with them (collectively referred to as the "Service"), and your choice regarding the collection and use of your information.

Using our service, you understand and agree that we provide a platform for the exchange of information about you, including personal information (for example, thoughts) and public information ("User Content"). This means that other users may explicitly use the public service, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and our terms of use.

Social Media Information

The profile information that you provide for your user profile (for example, name). This information allows us or you to "find" on Human Cosmos.

User content (for example, posts, comments) that you publish on the Service.

The connection between you and Human Cosmos. For example, we may send you emails related to the Service (for example, account confirmation, changes / updates to the functions of the Service, technical and security notices). Please note that you cannot opt out of e-mail related to the service.

Information Analytics:

We use third-party analytical tools to help us evaluate traffic and trends in the use of the Service. These tools collect information sent by your device or our Service, including the pages you visit, additions, and other information that helps us to improve the Service. We collect and use this analytical information along with analytical information from other users so that it cannot be reasonably used to identify any particular individual user.

The device identifier may provide us or a third party with information about how you view and use the Service, and may help us or others to provide reports or personalized content and advertising. Some functions of the Service may not work correctly if the use or availability of device identifiers is impaired or disabled.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

In addition to some specific uses of the information that we describe in this Privacy Policy, we may use the information we receive to:

- help you effectively access your information after logging in

- remember the information so that you do not have to retype it during your visit or the next visit to the Service

- provide, improve, test and monitor the effectiveness of our Service

- develop and test new products and features

- track metrics like total visitors, traffic, and demographics

- diagnose or fix technology issues

- automatically update Human Cosmos app on your device

- provide personalized content and information for you and others


3. EXCHANGE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We will not rent or sell your information to third parties outside Human Cosmos (or the group of companies of which Human Cosmos is a part) without your consent, except as otherwise provided in this Policy.

Parties with whom we may share your information:

We may transfer your information, as well as information from tools such as cookies, log files, anonymous session records, device identifiers and location data, to third parties that help us provide you Services ("Service Providers"). Our service providers will be provided with access to your information if it is reasonably necessary to provide the service on reasonable terms of confidentiality.

We may delete pieces of data that may identify you and provide anonymous data to other parties. We can also combine your information with other information in such a way that it is no longer associated with you, and share this aggregate information.

Parties with which you can share your User Content:

In accordance with your profile and privacy settings, any User Content that you make explicitly publicly available is searchable by other Users.

If you delete the information that you posted on the Service, copies may remain visible on the cached and archived pages of the Service, or if other Users or third parties using the Human Cosmos API have copied or saved this information.

Responding to legitimate requests and preventing harm:

We can access, save and transmit your information in response to a legal request (for example, a search warrant, court order or subpoena) if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. This may include responding to legal requests from jurisdictions outside the United States, where we have the good faith belief that an answer is required by law in that jurisdiction, affects users in that jurisdiction, and complies with internationally recognized standards.

We can also receive, store and share information if we have a good faith belief that it is necessary to:

- detect, prevent and combat fraud and other illegal activities;

- protect yourself, yourself and others, including as part of an investigation;

- and to prevent death or imminent bodily harm.

The information we receive about you may be available.

4. HOW WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION

Storage and handling:

Your information collected through the Service may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Cosmos Human, its Affiliates, or Service Providers provide services.

Cosmos Human, its affiliates or service providers may transfer information about you that we collect, including personal information across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. If you are located in the European Union or in other regions where there are laws governing the collection and use of data that may differ from US laws, please note that we may transfer information, including personal information, to the country and jurisdiction in which data protection The laws do not have the same protection as your jurisdiction.

By registering and using the Service, you consent to the transfer of information to the United States or any other country in which Human Cosmos, its affiliates or service providers provide services, as well as to the use and disclosure of information about you, as described in this Privacy Policy.

We use commercially reasonable precautions to ensure the security of information collected through the Service and take reasonable steps (for example, requesting a unique password) to verify your identity before giving you access to your account. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any information that you transmit to us, or guarantee that information about the Service will not be accessible, disclosed, modified or destroyed.

Please do your part to help us. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your unique password and account information, as well as for the constant monitoring of access to email between you and Human Cosmos. Your privacy settings may also be affected by changes to the social networks you connect to Human Cosmos. We are not responsible for the functionality, confidentiality or security measures of any other organization.

5. YOUR CHOICE OF YOUR INFORMATION

Your account information and profile/privacy settings:

Update your account at any time by logging in and changing your profile settings.

Unsubscribe from us by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided in such messages. As noted above, you cannot refuse messages related to the Service (for example, to confirm an account, confirm a purchase and issue invoices and reminders, changes/updates to the functions of the Service, technical notifications and security notifications).

How long do we keep your custom content:

After closing or deactivating your Human Cosmos account, its Affiliates or its Service Providers may retain information (including your profile information) and User Content for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archiving and/or audit purposes.

6. How you can exercise your privacy rights

To be in control of your personal data, you have the following rights:

Accessing / reviewing / updating / correcting your personal data. You have the right to review, edit, or change the personal data that you had previously provided to us in the profile section of the App. If you would like to receive a copy of data we process, please send us a data access request.

Deleting your personal data. You can request the erasure of your personal data, as permitted by law. When you request deletion of your personal data, we will use reasonable efforts to honor your request. In some cases we may be legally required to keep some of the data for a certain time; in such event, we will fulfill your request after we have complied with our obligations.

Objecting to or restricting the use of your personal data. You can ask us to stop using all or some of your personal data or limit our use thereof.

7. California privacy rights

This section provides additional details about how we process personal data of California consumers and the rights available to them under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and California's Shine the Light law. Therefore, this section applies only to residents of California, United States.

For more details about the personal information we have collected, including the categories of sources, please see Section 1 above. We collect this information for purposes described in Section 2 of this Privacy Policy. We may also share your information with certain categories of third parties as indicated in Section 4.

Subject to certain limitations, the CCPA provides California consumers the right to request to know more details about the categories or specific pieces of personal information we collect (including how we use and disclose this information), to delete their personal information, to opt-out of any "sales" that may be occurring, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

California consumers may make a request pursuant to their rights under the CCPA by contacting us at marketing@humancosmos.app. We will verify your request and inform you accordingly. You may also designate an authorized agent to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Access rights under California's Shine the Light

California also provides its residents with additional access rights. Under Shine the Light law, the residents may ask companies once a year what personal information they share with third parties for those third parties direct marketing purposes. Learn more about what is considered to be personal information under the statute.

To obtain this information from us, please send an email message to marketing@humancosmos.app, which includes "Request for California Shine the Light Privacy Information" on the subject line and your state of residence and email address in the body of your message. Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by the "Shine the Light" requirements and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response.

8. CHILD PRIVACY

Human Cosmos does not knowingly collect or request any information from persons under the age of 13, and deliberately does not allow such persons to register with the Service. The service and its contents are not intended for children under 13 years of age. If we find out that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13 without parental consent, we will delete this information as soon as possible. If you think that we can get any information about a child under 13 or about him, please contact us. For the EU, the age limit is 16 years due to GDPR.

9. OTHER SITES AND SERVICES

We are not responsible for the actions taken on any websites or services associated with our Service, including the information or content contained on them. Remember that when you use the link to go from our Service to another website or service, our Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services. Your browsing and interaction with any third-party website or service, including those that link to our website, is governed by its own rules and policies of this third party. In addition, you agree that we are not responsible and have no control over third parties to whom you allow access to your User Content.
